Free-agent catcher Ramon Castro has agreed to return to the Chicago White Sox for a $1 million, one-year contract.

Free-agent third baseman Adrian Beltre has received a contract offer from the Boston Red Sox, according to ESPNBoston.com. Terms of the deal are not known, and the report says other teams remain interested in Beltre.
